Hierarchy of needs is a great concept. Do we need more of a federal industrial policy (IRA doubled down?)?

motivate/support domestic investment + don't pick winners (as a gov't) + don't let other countries off the hook if they don't meet our labor/environmental standards...

Sound and sober commentary that really shouldn’t be political AT.ALL. The fact that it is breeds my concern that our political dialogue may be too far gone to handle energy like mature adults. Praying people don’t have to die due to bad energy policy before Washington wakes up.

Great commentary as always, Arjun. Thanks for sharing your wisdom.

Many thanks , as always,NTX Oilman. I will say that perhaps one takeaway from the past month or so in he U.S. is that when you don't have a primary, you don't have to take extremist positions (and to be clear, there is nothing in that sentence that indicates support for any particular candidate). Maybe we should get rid of primaries which as far as I understand were not always a thing for selecting candidates.

That’s actually a great point. That could be a good way to come back to the center. 🤔

Great post Arjun! It’s too bad politicians from both sides can’t work together on being the best with truth and the good of the whole country in mind!
